Relaxed Groundedness
Settled in the body rather than braced. Present without needing to hold everything up.

Personal Transformation & Leadership
You already know your patterns. No one ever taught you how to move through them.
The Unfoldment Practice is coaching for how you actually experience your life: your reactions, your habits, your attention, the people you love most, the ways you run on autopilot everywhere it matters. At work. With your kids. In your marriage. Everywhere.
This is real personal transformation. Results and behavior change follow from that, not the other way around.
You don't need any background in meditation, therapy, or “awareness work.” We start with what's actually happening in your life and work from there.
Best fit
People who feel stuck in patterns they genuinely want to change.
What we work on
Thoughts, habits, reactivity, attention, relationships, leadership, the ways you operate automatically.
First step
A private conversation to see if this is actually a fit.
You probably already know why you react the way you do. You know you should slow down, listen better, stop checking your phone at the dinner table, lead from something steadier than pressure.
Knowing that, and actually living differently, are two different things.
This is the whole thesis behind everything I do: intellectual awareness isn't the same as embodied knowing. You can describe a pattern in exquisite detail and still be inside it an hour later, because understanding happens in a part of you that was never holding the pattern in the first place.
This work builds the other thing: the capacity to feel a pattern arriving, in real time, early enough that you actually have a choice.
Awareness just means being conscious of what's happening in your mind and body while it's happening, not after.
Most of us spend most of a day running on autopilot. A thought shows up. A feeling follows it. An old reaction takes over before you've had a chance to choose anything. Then afterward you wonder why you did the same thing again.
This work slows that sequence down enough that you can actually see it happening. The result isn't becoming a different person. It's becoming less automatic.
Reactivity at home.
The short fuse with your own kids, right when it matters most.
Overthinking.
Getting stuck in your head, unable to turn the analysis off.
Habits that outlasted every attempt to quit them.
Not because you lack willpower. Because willpower was never the right tool.
The patterns that show up with the people you love.
The ways you connect, or don't, that keep producing the same outcome.
Leadership under pressure.
As an executive, this is where it shows up loudest. More on that below.
As an Executive
For leaders whose edge right now is the business, the team, the next decision, and who want the depth underneath it included, not bracketed off.
Trauma Surgeons · Blue-Collar CEOs · PE Partners & CFOs · Institutional & Division CEOs · VC Founders · High-Performing Sales Leaders
Leadership, done this way, isn't a title or a command function. It's a trainable capacity for attunement: sensing yourself, the room, the moment clearly enough to act well inside it. It's also the part most leadership development skips entirely.
Most executives think leading from the head is what control looks like. It's usually the opposite: a disconnection wearing control's clothes.
Executive coaching is the front door. Underneath it, I'm primarily what I'd call an unfoldment coach. What leaders actually need, more than another framework, is a real capacity to attune: to the present moment, to your own body, to the people in front of you, to what's actually being asked for right now. To sense your way through, instead of only thinking your way through. Courageous action doesn't have to be manufactured. It comes from capacities you already have. The work is attuning to them, not building them from scratch.
From there, a crossroads: can you lead yourself from that place, consistently, under real pressure? That's self-leadership, and it's harder than it sounds, because most of us were trained out of it before we could talk.
Then it lands somewhere. In the business. The team. The marriage. The decision you've been circling for a year. Powerful action, built on a foundation that can actually hold it.
At the center of it, underneath every layer of the method, is something simpler than any framework: remembering your own wholeness. Not becoming someone new. Recovering contact with what was never actually broken, just buried under the performance, the achievement, the old strategies that kept you safe a long time ago and now just keep you managed.
I like building something real in the world: a business, a family, a life with actual weight to it. I also care, just as much, about why any of it matters. Most people treat those as competing games: chase the results and the depth goes hollow, chase the depth and you lose your edge in the world.
I don't think you have to pick. Run well together, they sharpen each other: results that come from somewhere real instead of from strain, and a sense of purpose that's actually tested against a real life, not just contemplated in private. That's the way I operate, and it's the way I work with the people I coach.
There's a quieter cost too: going along with a culture that runs against your own wellbeing because that's just how it's done, instead of actually leading from what you believe. That's available. It's just rarely modeled.
Settled in the body rather than braced. Present without needing to hold everything up.
Thought, feeling, and action moving in the same direction, instead of one part of you steering while the rest gets dragged along.
Available and unguarded, even under real pressure. Not naivety. Capacity.
Room to actually take the world in, instead of bracing against it.
A softness that doesn't need to perform strength, because it isn't afraid of what's underneath.
Doing and being what's actually required to create the life you want, taking real responsibility for it, with the action itself moving from a grounded, loving place in the heart rather than force.
“The outward work can never be great if the inward work is small.”
This isn't traditional performance coaching. It's not primarily about productivity, career wins, or setting more goals, though those often follow. It's not therapy, and it's not crisis care. This is coaching focused on how you actually experience yourself and your life: your reactions, your habits, your attention, your relationships, and the patterns running you on autopilot everywhere they show up.

In Person
Catalyst comes from the Greek kata- ("down, thoroughly") and lysis ("a loosening," the same root behind "analysis" and "paralysis"). Literally: a complete loosening. The word entered chemistry in the 1830s to describe a substance that triggers a reaction and radically speeds it up, without being consumed or changed itself in the process.
That's the job these two days do. The intensive doesn't produce the change. It loosens what's been rigid long enough, fast enough, that months of ordinary movement happen in a fraction of the time. The integration, daily practice, and embodiment of what this weekend reveals does the rest.
Ongoing
A long-term guide who sees the whole picture, not just whatever's on fire this week: how you lead, your nervous system, your marriage, the patterns that keep repeating. Regular sessions, real-time support at the moments that actually matter.
Apply / Learn More →Over the last ten years, I became a husband, a father, and a business owner. Each one asked me to face what was actually happening in my life, so I could stand in my leadership as the grounded, free, loving, and powerful leader I wanted to be.
I stepped into transformational work and never looked back. I could see and feel how constricting my automatic patterns were, how disruptive, and how out of alignment with who I wanted to be as a dad, a husband, and a leader. I had to learn to meet myself, understand myself, and navigate my own experience in some of the most intense and challenging moments of my life. I joke that fatherhood has often felt more intense than combat. I'm only half joking.
I coach from having done that work, not from having it figured out. I'm still in it, which is why I can be in it with you.
This isn't run at scale. A small number of people, held well, beats a large number held thinly.
The first step is a private consultation. We talk about what's actually happening in your life, what you want to be different, and whether this is a real fit, for both of us.
There's no expectation that everyone who books a call becomes a client.
